For those of you that were not at the annual dinner here is a list of St
Ives Cycling Club hall of fame:

Fastest Junior 10 (last awarded 1992) - Tom Gray
Top Points - Paul Rennie
Top Vets Points (Cup) - Chris Penney
Top Vets Points (Shield) - Dave Nelson (On age standard)
Fastest 25 - Gary Stevens 56:52
Fastest 10 - Paul Rennie 23.13
Senior Road Race Trophy- Stuart Hocknell as over 60 Welsh Champ
Hill Climb - Gary Stevens
Committee shield for services to the club - Tricky category with G.S.
sorting out the club runs (but he's won too much already) and the
Arnot/Bunnage-Smith partnership giving a lot to the club. Dave Nelson pipped
it on the line for services to journalism, lot's of behind the scenes
grafting, and for a superb acceptance speech!
The Hammered Trophy - Neil Houldey, cos he's obviously a very strong
rider but not managed to pick up any other awards, but really because he
seems to have acquired a reputation for crashing! (can't imagine why - 3
crashes and one bike written off in two days cycling in the Lake District.
